We finally were able to get back to fishing today. We definitely were blessed here in the Outer Banks not to have Hurricane Florence pay us a visit. We just wish our friends to the south were as lucky.
We headed offshore this morning, a little bumpy, but not too bad. The greenstick action was very busy today. We ended up with a nice mix of yellowfin, blackfin and skip jack tunas today. The seas should continue to improve each day and the tuna and mahi fishing will be quite good through October.
