Charter a Shrimp Boat
Grab up to 6 family and friends and enjoy a one-of-a-kind shrimp charter experience! The Hallie M is a 40' custom-built fishing boat operated by Captain Barry Sweitzer as a full-time shrimp boat. During this charter trip, you'll learn how a shrimp boat operates while trawling in the sound off Roanoke Island. Then you'll sort through a catch that will include some combination of shrimp, crabs and fish! This is a 4 hour charter. Everything of legal size is yours to keep.
No fishing license required. You will need a cooler for your catch, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat plus any food and drink. Bottled water and ice provided. No glass containers please! All other items related to the trip are provided including gloves.
Please wear non-slip shoes or boots. Wet decks can be slippery!
We will have a mate who will work to make sure your trip is a success. The mate works for tips. Thank you.
