Offshore from Hatteras Inlet
Inshore from Hatteras Inlet
Hatteras Sound

We had some poor weather Tuesday which kept all the boats docked, however, that was followed some awesome fishing the remainder of the week.  Our offshore boats returned daily with full fish boxes and happy anglers.  This week we continued to see abundant Blackfin Tuna and a few Yellowfin made there way to the docks as well.  The Dolphin bite picked up this week and we started to see more gaffer fish by the end of the week along with a few King Mackerel and several Wahoo. A few boats did some bottom fishing and caught both Sea Bass and Vermillion Snapper. And as if that wasn't enough, we had one boat with a Blue Marlin Release!  Things have continued to pick up offshore and we are eager to see what they come back with in the coming few days.  Inshore fishing continues to produce some nice big Blue fish along with some keeper Puppy Drum! There were multiple citation Red Drum releases this week along with several Cobia spotted and one was caught.  Its a great time to make your way to the Outer Banks for a fishing trip.  We are excited to see what May brings here at Hatteras Harbor Marina.

Coming to Hatteras Island soon? Give us a call, we offer lodging, dining, and fishing all in one stop!
