Well, while we were hoping for a great week of fishing the weather threw us a few curve balls.  Most of our fleet remained docked several days this week due to high winds.  On Wednesday our boats made up for the lost time and filled the docks with Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna, Tile Fish, and to top it off one Blue Marlin release and one Sailfish release. Inshore boats reported catching (and releasing ) over 60 slot sized Puppy Drum after catching their limits.  As the week progressed we saw 2 more Sailfish releases and 2 White Marlin releases.  The Blackfin Tuna bite continues to be hot but we are seeing some Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Dolphin in the fish boxes as well.  We went into the weekend with winds blowing 25-30kts.  Several of our inshore boats still managed to make there way out into the Pamlico sound where they caught Puppy Drum, Blue Fish, Flounder, and even managed a few Big Red Drum releases.  Despite the weather, our anglers made the most out of the week.  We are looking forward to some nicer days ahead and can't wait to see what fish are brought back to the dock.  You can check out our daily reports at or find us on Facebook at
