Senior Community Resource Fair
Dare County’s Senior Community Resource Fair offers older adults and their families valuable tools to stay healthy, informed, and connected. Hosted by the Dare County Older Adult Services Advisory Council, the event features wellness resources, tech assistance, food demos, and local support groups. Trained counselors from North Carolina’s Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), which helps residents navigate Medicare options, will also be on-site for appointments.
Limited transportation assistance to the Dare County Youth Center in Kill Devil Hills will be available from the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center in Manteo. To register for the bus transportation, please contact Virginia S. Tillett Community Center Director Lara Lewis at 252-475-5625.
