Event Description:
Join us to celebrate the 111th birthday of Francis Rogallo. Though Rog passed away in 2009, we honor his birthday every year by flying his home site - this year attempting to make 111 flights on Jockey's Ridge.
We'll need all the help we can get! All flights will count toward the goal, and we'll have prizes for pilots who traveled the farthest, and the pilot who makes the most flights. We'll have gliders for rated pilots to borrow, and we'll cut the birthday cake after the event to celebrate the success. Admission is free, just like the flying that Rog helped us realize.
