Shellebrate Turtles Camp
Scutes, carapace and beaks oh my! Learn what it takes to be a tremendous turtle, explore the different types of sea, land, and freshwater turtles and their habitats. Campers will learn about species of turtles in North Carolina through interactive reptilian stations, engineer their own turtle and enjoy live animal encounters. Young turtle campers can get an up-close look at the Sea Turtle Assistance and Rehabilitation Center to visit a few sea turtle patients. Campers will help the environment and take part in a beach clean-up to reduce threats sea turtles may face! Explore the wonderful world of turtles!
(Closed toe shoes and a bag lunch are required. Booster seat, if required.)
