What does a bat, whale and opossum have in common? Why, they all belong to a group of animals called… Mammals! Discover what marvelous traits and adaptations these animals have, explore the role they play in their aquatic or terrestrial food chain, visit our river otter exhibit, and meet an animal ambassador that represents the only marsupial found in North America. Come and interactively learn all about native species of mammals that call North Carolina home.
