Southwest wind and warm this morning then early afternoon it switched to northeast and the temperatures dropped quickly. This morning in Buxton at the point there was one big drum caught by Nathan Jones and I also heard of a big striper. I talked to a couple guys fishing hatteras inlet that caught a cooler of sea mullet before the wind switch. The little bridge continued today to catch trout up to 20in and a scattered puppy drum. It was slow last night striper fishing around the pirates cove bridge because of the strong current. I forgot a mention yesterday that their were some trout caught in the surf all the way up to kitty hawk.
