Offshore boats had mix bag catches yesterday. Some boats had good TUNA fishing and other had limits of MAHI. Also several MARLIN caught scattered around and like always limits of TILEFISH.

Inshore fishing was great today. Boats caught KING MACKEREL, COBIA ,DRUM, nice SPANISH MACKEREL, few BLUEFISH, AMBERJACKS, and some MAHI close to the beach.

Sound fishing was good today with SHEEPSHEAD, DRUM, TROUT, and FLOUNDER.

The piers are catching few SEA MULLET, some KING MACKEREL live baiting, SPANISH MACKEREL , BLUEFISH, and FLOUNDER. Beach anglers are catching SHARKS, POMPANO, FLOUNDER, SEA MULLET, and BLUEFISH.

The center picture below is Shane throwing his new cast net. He will be throwing like Nick Walke in no time. The charter boat Virginia Dare found a big school of drum today and caught several. I heard a story this afternoon about a paddle boarder catching a big drum and a tiger shark eating the drum and almost knocking him off the board. The nice flounder on the fly rod was caught by Tommy Chance who is have another awesome year. Last picture was Tye Lalik in the middle of some awesome puppy drum fishing.
