Oceans East Fishing Report
8/4/2021
Robert and Brad both caught a KING MACKEREL yesterday morning in Nags head. These last few weeks have been great for the live bait guys fishing the end of the piers.
Prior to the rain, the people fishing on the piers was good with BLUEFISH, SPOT, SEA BASS, SPADEFISH, SHEEPSHEAD, SEA MULLET, AND SAND PERCH.
The bridges had some trout, puppy drum and sheepshead as well.
Unfortunately the rain and wind kept most boats at the docks. We saw alot of mates in the store getting things to get rigged up and ready for when the rain clears. The rain should be out of here by Sunday just in time for the Alice Kelly Memorial Ladies Only Billfish Tournament.
