Great offshore fishing yesterday on the YELLOWFIN. Several boats had full boxes. Also there were some WAHOO and MAHI caught. The Seaducer had four WAHOO. The MARLIN fishing was pretty slow today with only a handful caught.
The inlet was nasty this morning so some boats weren’t about to get out. I heard of a boat turning over and luckily Aaron and Bob on the rock solid were able to pull them out of the water. I heard of a few COBIA and KING MACKEREL right outside the inlet. SHEEPSHEAD are still around the bridges.
Sound fishing was great on the PUPPY DRUM and their were some nice size TROUT caught. FLOUNDER fishing was scattered today.
Beach and piers had a few KING MACKEREL and COBIA bites with scattered SPOT and SEA MULLET. PUPPY DRUM were still plentiful but there was a big swell and afternoon rain
Congratulations Jack on your nice yellowfins today and thanks David Walker on the Jesus Freak for donating the trip. The nice 23in puppy was caught by Mike Dinsmore of Sterling VA and Dalton Bowden on a great slot drum.
