Offshore fleet yesterday had trouble finding the MAHI so several boats fished back up and caught some YELLOWFIN and BIGEYE around the whales. Sharks were bad but the fleet got some away from them and scrapped out good catches. They also caught limits of TILEFISH.

Inshore boats caught TRIGGERFISH, AMBERJACKS, and SPADEFISH around the wrecks. Trolling they caught SPANISH MACKEREL and BLUEFISH. I heard of a couple COBIA caught too. SHEEPSHEAD fishing remains really good. We will have our fiddlers Friday. Sorry it’s been a struggle to get them and we have been selling out quickly.

Sound fishing was great today with citation and keeper TROUT ,DRUM of all sizes, SHEEPSHEAD, and BLACKDRUM.

Beach and piers caught BLUEFISH, SPANISH MACKERELPOMPANOFLOUNDER, and SEA MULLET. One pier reported a couple nice PUPPY DRUM in the surf tonight.

The dock picture of trout and the sheepshead was from Captain Terry Payne at OBX inshore fishing. The other several pictures are from Lauren and Evan Clay. They had an awesome day. They caught black drum, puppy drum, and trout wading, kayaking, and fishing around the inlet.
