Great weekend of fishing from the sand to the blue water. Everyday more and more nice trout are being caught in the sound with the water temperatures warming up. Also there are drum everywhere this season. Drum from slot size to 50 inches are being caught. Sheepshead around the Oregon Inlet bridge are starting to show up. On Hatteras island anglers are seeing puppy drum, big drum, black drum, sea mullet, blow toads, and a few bluefish. Offshore boats are seeing tons of bluefin tuna with lots of keeper size fish around. They are also catching few yellowfins, few bigeyes, and few blackfins.
