Beach fishing in Nags head remains really, really good. Some customers have said it’s the best puppy drum fishing they have ever seen in the surf. The last couple days some trout have been mixed in with one trout over 6 pounds snagged and caught, and one over 8lbs caught in the surf. The water temperatures are very close to being right for the trout. Our sound is loaded with drum also with all size fish being caught. The sheepshead are starting to show up around the Oregon Inlet bridge. Hatteras island is reporting sea mullets, blow toads, and mixed size drum. This morning at the point their were at least 3 big drum caught along with some sharks. Congratulations Cobia Killer on your great beach catch today.
