Unreal couple days of beach and pier trout and puppy drum fishing in the Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills area. It’s been a long time since we have seen this many 5 to 7 pound trout caught on the piers and beach. The big drum have been mainly in Buxton at the point with a handful of 40+ inch fish caught last night. Most of the sea mullets and blow toads have been south of Oregon Inlet but a few are starting to be caught up here. Offshore fishing was a little slow yesterday out of Oregon Inlet with some yellowfin, Blackfin, few dolphin, and few makos caught. Some Hatteras boats had great Blackfin catches. We are stocked up on tackle and clothing like you have never seen before. Come see us and we will get you rigged up to go catch a trophy.
