Fishing remains good for July. Offshore today have been some good catches of Tuna, sailfish, and a few marlin in the mix. The Dare County Boat Builders tournament kicked off today, with several boats landing a few nice fish. Near shore the ribbons are still pretty thick. A few nice big red drum have been caught in the sound, as well as lots of trout, puppy drum and flounder. Hopefully the flounder hang around long enough to keep a few! In the shop today we've had some good reports from the Bonner Bridge pier for sheepshead, puppy drum and bluefish. The surf has been a little quiet today, alot of small croaker. The wind has been perfect for the little bridge and gazebo, I'm sure there will be some puppy drum around for the evening.
