Oceans East Bait & Tackle Nags HeadOceans East Fishing Report

August is off to a great start with lots of fish everywhere. Offshore catches of Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, White Marlin, Sail Fish, Blue Marlin and Sharks. Nearshore ALOT of ribbonfish being caught, with some Spanish Mackerel mixed in. Inshore Puppy Drum remain plentiful, Trout, Sheepshead, Bluefish and Flounder. From the beach is has been a little slower but still alot of smaller fish round, Croaker, Spot, Puppy Drum, Black drum, Sea Mullet, Skate and Sting rays. from the bridges and Piers a little more action with the same fish plus Sheepshead, Spadefish and some Sea Bass.
