Heavy rain this morning and a hard northeast wind. Not many people out there fishing today. I did hear of a boat that went tuna fishing yesterday around the point and he ended up with 12 yellowfins and 3 makos. Hopefully we can get this virus behind us and get back fishing soon. I also talked to a guy that caught stripers pretty good last night around the pirates cove bridge. A few people were fishing on the little bridge today in the rain but I didn’t hear if they caught anything. A friend of mine Chuck Deal posted some pictures yesterday from about 20 years ago of several of us drum fishing on the piers. So tonight I went digging thru my old pictures and found pictures of 2 good friends that are no longer with us.
