This afternoon the wind decided to finally lay out. A few boats decided to go offshore this morning and I heard of several bluefins being caught. This afternoon once the wind fell out boats were racing out the inlet to try and catch a bluefin before midnight. The weather looks really good for the next two days so I should have a good report tomorrow night. I had a customer that came in the shop right before we closed who fished the jetties in Buxton today. He said it was pretty slow but he ended up with a 17in and a 22in puppy drum. Sound fishing was fair today with some trout and scattered stripers being caught. Fresh water fishing remains good with crappie and scattered bass being caught.
