Bills! Bills! Bills! But, It's a Good Thing!
What a great week it has been for BILLFISH!! Anglers are pulling in blues, whites, and sails this week in strong numbers! Anglers are also pulling in limits of dolphin, a few yellow-fin tuna, some great wahoo with some qualifying for trophy citations, and limits of tilefish.
Near-Shore anglers have enjoyed some spectacular spanish mackerel fishing and continue to pull in good numbers of bluefish as well as some moonfish. There have also been a few trophy citation red drum catch and releases over the week. Angler have also had good amberjack catches, with a couple of trophy citations.
In-Shore anglers have had some exciting days of speckled trout fishing, bringing in limits of some very nice fish. There has been some excellent flounder fishing as well as a few red drum keepers, with several more catch and release.
The Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat has had some great trips, bringing in some very healthy flounder, sea mullet, sea bass, pufferfish, pigfish, pinfish, and a few ribbonfish.
