Event Description:
Cape Hatteras National Seashore and the North Carolina Beach Buggy Association host a drop-in volunteer beach clean up that focuses on three different areas: Coquina Beach (meet park staff at the bathhouse), Old Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Site (meet park staff in the parking lot) and the Day-Use Area on Ocracoke Island (meet park staff in the parking lot). Trash bags will be provided, and volunteers are asked to bring leather gloves, water, snacks, sunscreen and wear appropriate clothes and footwear.
