Island Bookstore Book Signing With Dee Stribling
Island Bookstore, a three-store chain of Independent bookstores will hold a signing in August 2018 with North Carolina artist and poetry author Dee Stribling for her collection, A Just Down the Road.
This collection of poems is a tribute in memory of beloved friends and places embodying the strength, struggle, and tender beauty that can be found in the rural areas where Stribling grew up and has lived.

Dee Stribling is a writer of prose and poetry. A Sundress Academy for the Arts poetry winner her work has appeared in 200 New Mexico Poems and other collections. Additional poetry chapbooks include Appalachian Picture Book (Finishing Line Press) and Down East Picture Book (Horse & Buggy Press). Work in-progress includes a childhood memoir and more poetry.
