Event Description:
Discover the craft of metalwork with Pocosin Art's introduction to metalsmithing workshop. In this class students will learn how to use the proper tools and techniques for soldering, sawing, sanding, polishing, embossing and forming metal to shape precious materials and set stones. By the end of the six-week course, students will create small but intricate pieces and garner the basic foundation for working with metal arts.
Instructor TaeHyun Bang brings expertise in metal design, jewelry making and sculpting to this workshop.
*Due to COVID-19, all Pocosin Arts workshops are canceled through March.*
This first session of this class meets from January 29 through March 4, and the second session runs March 11 through April 15.
