The Lost Colony, Jingle ARRGH the Way! Children's Show
Event Description:

The Lost Colony is proud to announce the opening of our 2017 Children’s Show:  Jingle ARRGH the Way! on Wednesday, June 14th, at our Sound Stage Theatre. Jingle ARRGH the Way! is based on a story by Melinda Long, author of “How I Became a Pirate.” This musical pirate (Christmas) adventure on the high seas has Book, Music, and Lyrics by Janet Yates Vogt & Mark Friedman. This production is generously sponsored by Outer Banks ACE.

A mysterious message left in the crow’s nest of their ship brings Captain Braid Beard and his pirate mates back to North Beach to seek out young Jeremy Jacob to help solve a riddle and find the Christmas treasure. Favorite characters, a rollicking story, great songs, and a trip to the North Pole to find “you know who” makes Jingle ARRGH the Way! a wonderful show for the whole family.

Directed by Kole Mitchell McKinley, with Jordan Prescott as Musical Director and Sarah Dove Stage Manager. Production staff includes David Bost as Sound Engineer, Chris Keil as Scenic Designer, and Emma Anderson as Props Master. With lighting designed by Monika Cruson and costumes designed by Jeri Elizabeth Meador. The production features a cast that includes: Vitally Mayes as Jeremy Jacob and Delphon Curtis, Jr. as Braid Beard. Other cast members include Landon Scott Ferrell, Megan Glover, Caitlyn Joyce, and Colin Parker.
