The Shore Thing: Let's Talk Seagrass
Event Description:
Come out for an engaging community seminar that will bring together scientists, environmental experts, regulators, and community members for an open conversation about one of the area’s most visible coastal issues. The evening will begin with a presentation by Sean Charles of the Coastal Studies Institute (CSI), who will explain the role seagrass plays in the ecosystem, why accumulation events occur, and the environmental factors contributing to current conditions along the soundside.
