Cool, coastal tones and the soothing sounds of wind chimes are what first attract the passerby to the door of Alice’s Craft Gallery. Step inside and you’re captivated by an array of fused glass, handmade jewelry, fine woodwork, metals, prints and one of the most extensive pottery collections on the Outer Banks.
Owner Alice Mickle showcases the works of talented American and Canadian craftspeople including a great deal of pottery fired right here in North Carolina, such as the Shore Fire Pottery of local Ilze Drozds-Russano, a Corolla resident. The signature blue glaze of Campbell Pottery, based in Pennsylvania, is here too. It’s both visually striking and stable enough for cooking. Art that you can use every day — that’s what you’ll find at Alice’s Craft Gallery!
Located in Monteray Plaza in Corolla, the gallery is open seven days a week seasonally with extended evening hours in the summer.
