Winters at Cameron House Inn

By Beth P. Storie | Tuesday, January 6, 2015

Winters are not lonely at Cameron House Inn, a lovingly restored Arts and Crafts bungalow bed and breakfast in Manteo. In fact, more and more, guests are discovering that the so-called quiet colder months are ideal for visiting. “That’s one of the reasons we stay open year round,” explains innkeeper, Jennifer Everette. “The folks who come in the off season are far more laid back and looking for activities such as birding, history tours and just sitting by the back porch fireplace and reading. I get to slow down a little and perfect my baking recipes on them…they sure don’t seem to mind!”

Come join the wintery fun! Mention OuterBanksThisWeek.com when you call for a visit until March 31 (excluding Valentine’s Weekend) and you’ll receive $35 off the regular rate per night (plus, those sweets Jennifer is coming up with)!
