The Mystery Fish!!  Semi cloudy day today  with warm humid air. The ocean today is so flat I don't think I have ever seen it this flat. The water is crystal clear. Loads of mullet are being caught on fish bits with croakers, spot, skate, and small blues today. I may have forgotten to mention in another report of this mystery fish. I have had multiple people in and even some I know personally say they got hit by something they would try to reel it in and as soon as the fish knows it's hooked it aims for deeper water and goes with nobody being able to stop it. The only thing left is an empty spool and we had one angler in today that had the whole rod ripped into the ocean, gone. So now you are aware of the Mystery Fish. The piers today has blues, spanish, spot, triggerfish, and spade fish. The nearshore fleet is back after the cobia, blues, and spanish. The offshore guys had yellowfin, mahi, wahoo, sea bass, and tiles. That's it for today we will tell you another story tomorrow.

We have charters call and book yours whenever you're ready.

Send your photos and questions to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com  and we thank you.
