Corolla Fish Report
Well, a much different day today. Expect the fishing to be slow today as we have a cold upwelling cooling the water off with this west wind before switching to a north wind. Missed the report yesterday but on Wednesday evening the Spanish were off the hook jumping everywhere and hitting lure action. When we get a south or southeast wind that's the time to grab your rod and hit the beach. Today and tomorrow the wind is all over the place so we will just have to see what happens. The piers this morning are slow with a few mullet and blues. Nearshore boaters on the inside getting plenty of trout and on the outside blues and Spanish seem to be what's hitting the lines. Offshore slowed a touch with just Yellowfin and Mahi hitting the docks.
Today's pic of the horses meeting the giant turtle was taken off of the Obx locals page not something you see every day!
