Swimming with the fish!! Today's photo was taken by a drone in Corolla so while you're enjoying your swim just remember you're not alone!! Today we have much better conditions clean clear water and a flat ocean and the best part is the water temp is back up to 70 today after that cooling-off period. Fishing has improved also today with good catches of mullet, spot, croaker, blues, and skate and we even had a small cobia caught and released. On the piers, we had bluefish and spanish. Nearshore boaters are on the look out for the cobia and redfish along with trout on the inside the outside cobia, drum, albacore, spanish , and sea bass. Offshore has been doing well with yellowfin, mahi, some big eye, marlin, and sails.
Along the shore as far as bait goes has been across the board with anglers having luck on sand fleas, clams, fish bites, and shrimp not to mention lures also working.

Charters are available from 1/2 day to all day we have trips for all kinds of fishermen call the shop to book your trip.

Send your photos and questions to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com  and we thank you !!
