Here we go change over 4th of July week!! Folks went out fishing today waiting to get into their houses and reports from the beach where the mullet bite was on and we have some bluefish busting up the water as well so we are off to a good start. Today's pic sent in from a good friend of mine staying on the 4x4 beach with a nice drum. The conditions today look very good with a southeast wind. The water was nice and clear this morning but at 5 pm the water is a little dirty with yellow flags flying so we do have a rip for now. Nice swell coming in and a 71-degree water temp. The piers are seeing blues, mullet, and spanish so look for much of the same around here but we are seeing drum as well. The near shore boats found tiles, sea bass, snowy and spanish mackerel. The offshore fleet had yellowfin, blackfin, wahoo, mahi, and bonita. Tomorrow should bring in much the same as we saw today.
