Heidy Ho Neighbors!! Today was hot and I don't think the wind really helped anything but there were fish caught. Today's photos sent in have AJ and Emerson on their first ocean fishing excursion and landed a double hook-up with a flounder and a nice mullet so well done you two. Up next Peyton Price is back in town for a while and this boy loves to shark fish. He landed this 97" sand tiger shark with a 17" mullet he had caught for bait. Now he dropped the bait 600 yards out from the beach which he swims out to drop? nuts, I know. You are probably also thinking 600 yards? and yes I have spooled his reels and yes they hold that much line but he definitely enjoys it and does a great job releasing these sharks back, so thanks for the photo Peyton and I'm sure I will be seeing more. Today the water was dirty much more than yesterday so hopefully, we see some better conditions this week. The piers did see spanish and blues today with mullet. Nearshore boats had mullet, spanish, blues, moonfish, and sea bass. Offshore yellowfin, mahi, tiles, and amberjacks. We will see what tomorrow brings us so stay tuned.

Charters this week are filling up but we do have some openings left, just call the shop to book.

Send in your photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you!!
