Picture perfect day!! We have just a spectacular day today the outside temp is good and the water is perfectly clear today it even has me wanting to get out there myself it is absolutely gorgeous out. The water temp is up and the fish are back to biting. Lots of croaker, mullet, kingfish and we may just see the spanish and blues go off this evening so have your lures ready to go. Today's picture was sent in by Eric Anderson from Illinois which he sent in yesterday but my computer decided to take the day off. The nearshore boats were on the drum and ribbonfish while the offshore fleet brought back yellowfin, blackfin, wahoo, and mahi.

We have charters and the shrimping boats are pulling in more shrimp now the season started slow but the shrimping has picked up, so hope on a crab and shrimp trip and have a party when you get back!! Full-day fishing trips to half days are available and don't forget our new surf fishing lessons.

Send your fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you!!
