Finally some improvements. A gloomy start to the day but the conditions look great right now with some nice clean and clear water it is absolutely beautiful. The clear water is at least a start as we have had nasty conditions for the last several days. Prior to the storm all we were seeing was croakers and spot with just some mullet. So far I have not heard a word off of the beach as of yet but my guess is that we will see more of the same this week. The water is still on the cold side at 64 today we will see if we can get some warmer water this year. Today's photo was sent in by Tom and Brandon to give you an idea of just how many croakers were out there they caught 142 fish in three days with a mix of croaker, spot, and 4 skates. Now to some catching that many croakers some folks get bored but at least there is something to reel in and you just have to enjoy what you're doing the big fish just aren't always around. These two did enjoy themselves and we are always glad to see you Tom and thanks for the pictures.

Check out our website we have all kinds of charters, surf and shark fishing lessons, and crab and shrimping trips and you can call the shop to book your trip.

Send your fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and you can be in the next fish report you don't need to catch a monster to be a star for the day!! And we thank you all.
