Customers having some fun!! We see some amusing shirts here from time to time. Now on to the fish report. I will say the last couple of days things have slowed folks are still catching some fish and I think most of the action is happening at dusk. Puppy drum, trout, mullet, and some blues. The tides are off this week as high tide is in the middle of the day which I dont think is helping anyone out. The water temp is 72 degrees with a small swell and the wind has been calm for yesterday and today but will pick back up tomorrow. The weather has been spectacular out here. The piers have also been slow but as we see the north wind pick up tomorrow locals are predicting the drum to come back in. The water is fairly clear I would like to see a little more cleaner than it is but it's not bad. Nearshore boats had a good day with plenty of ribbonfish. Spanish, blues, drum, albacore, and reports of wahoo which I question but it was in the report. The offshore report was also good with a lot of mahi and some nice bulls with yellowfin, blackfin, wahoo, sails, and white marlin.

The store will be closed tomorrow as I am heading out to do some offshore fishing and I can't wait to have some fun and a little time off.

We do have charters available and the fishing is very good right now just call the shop and book yours today!

Send your fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
