Turned out to be a really nice day on the beach. The water is clean, clear, and sitting at 64 degrees. There are bluefish in the surf, sometimes a bit too far out—but they’re definitely around. We're getting some reports from the piers and farther south. The piers are seeing a good Spanish mackerel bite along with bluefish, and Jenette’s Pier is still producing sheepshead.

Down south, anglers are reporting big bluefish in the surf with lots of lure action—they're thick out there. It's been pretty quiet in the shop today, not hearing much, but there have to be fish out there. Maybe I'll get more updates tomorrow.

The nearshore fleet is bringing in nice catches of Spanish and moonfish. Offshore boats did well too, with good numbers of mahi, yellowfin, tilefish, and sea bass.

Charters are available.
