Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Improvement!! Well, we did see the fishing improve yesterday. The water temperature is back up to 69 degrees today, and we had bluefish, a good flounder bite on cut minnows, and mullet back in the surf. This is a much-needed boost to the fishing, as it has been very slow, especially for this time of the year. With any luck, we hope this trend continues. The offshore fishing is stellar, with good-sized yellowfin filling the boxes up with some mahi and tilefish. The nearshore fleet has spanish, blues, and moonfish. The piers have sheepshead, blues, spanish, and mullet. We are getting a huge load of bait today so we should be ready for this weekend for the new arrivals. I will keep you up to date.

Charters are available for ocean fishing as well as sound side fishing you can call the shop to book your adventure anytime!!

Send your fishing photos to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com and we will post you proudly in the next report and we thank you.
