Corolla Fish Report

A little hiccup. Yesterday, I started to get reports of that dreaded sea grass loading up the lines, making the fishing near impossible. Somewhere along the beach, something changed. Looking at the cameras down in KDH, conditions look great with no rip. We had a nice, clean, clear swell coming straight at the beach but yet sea grass was flowing, but with none coming onto the beach, so definitely some weird conditions. Today, we will see what we get the wind is going to pick up, and we have a storm coming in tonight.
Today's pic was sent in by Matthew, who landed his first shark and came into the store this morning to share the video, and was so excited to catch this shark. He has spent a small fortune getting the right gear and trying to catch one, and his patience finally paid off!! Matthew had caught a mullet earlier that evening, and on his last attempt that night, he pinned the mullet on the line and got one, so now he's hooked.
The pier fishing has been good with spanish and bluefish along with other assorted fish. The nearshoe fleet is still on the spanish and blues. The offshore fleet with plenty of yellowfin, mahi, wahoo, sails, and white marlin, so the offshore fishing continues to be very good.
Charters are available. Call the shop to book yours. We have boats standing by.
