Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Yep, it's still HOT!! The fish are here, and I picked up several reports of bluefish, Spanish, sharks, and rays. I also saw some video of trout and sheepshead swimming around not far away. Also, there are reports of what I think are dogfish in real close, eating the baitfish.
Kylie and Keith Copper sent in today's photo from Franklin, VA who smashed it last Saturday when coming in the first night and scored some nice drum and a nice flounder which was released, and they were in the shop today getting ready to do it again tonight, so good luck, Coopers get um!!
There is a lot going on and many different reports walking in the shop, and I am also picking up on some on cut bait while others are killing it on lures. I think it is just different fishermen and styles, and what you know. The water temp today is 72, and the water remains crystal clear, and I have to say I have never seen this clear for this long.
The nearshore boats really had a good day out yesterday and had great fishing with drum, blues, spanish, sea bass, and even mahi in close!! The offshore fleet also had a great day with big eye tuna, yellowfin, mahi, and tilefish.

Charters are available and we have some nice boats, so come on, the fishing is good, let's go!! Call the shop to book yours.

Send your fishing photos to obxbaitandtackkle@yahoo.com and we thank you.
