What began in 2019 as a small gathering of “misfit” makers has grown into a beloved tradition celebrating originality, resilience, and creativity in our local handmade community.🎨✨

Join us for a laid-back, one-of-a-kind shopping experience featuring unique, handcrafted treasures from local artists who love being a little different. Come for the gifts, stay for the good vibes!🎄🍺

The Lost Colony will be at the 30th American Indian Heritage Celebration at the NC Museum of Art on November 22nd to host auditions for the 2026 season of The Lost Colony and to cheer on alumni of the show who will be dancing! These auditions are open to all who attend the Celebration. We hope to see you at the Celebration and at auditions in just a few weeks!

Today, we celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. Founded on November 10, 1775 in Philadelphia, the US Marine Corps has stood as a symbol of honor, courage, and commitment for two and a half centuries.

To all Marines, past, present, and future, we offer our deepest gratitude for your unwavering dedication and sacrifice. Your service and strength have not only shaped our nation’s history but continue to inspire generations. As we commemorate this milestone, we honor every Marine who has proudly worn the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, and we remember with reverence those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom. Your courage and commitment continue to uplift us all and strengthen the spirit of our community.

🎣 Country Girl Fishing Report – Nov 1, 2 & 8 🎣

It’s been an awesome stretch offshore and on the bottom!

🗓 Nov 1: 10 anglers – all about the sea bass! Steady bite all day and an easy limit of black sea bass by mid-afternoon.

🗓 Nov 2: 6 anglers – started trolling and picked up a couple of nice blackfin tuna and 4 gaffer mahi before heading inshore for another limit of sea bass.

🗓 Nov 8: The blackfin bite was great early – we put 15 in the box before things slowed down that afternoon.

Always a blast fishing with great people on the Country Girl!
