Oyster Shells & Sleigh Bells at The Black Pelican! 🎄 You asked… we listened! Our last oyster roast was such a hit that we’re doing it again—just in time for the holidays!

Join us for Oyster Shells & Sleigh Bells, an ALL YOU CAN EAT holiday feast featuring roasted oysters, BBQ, all the fixins, and a hot cocoa bar.
👉 Enjoy live music from Jeremy & The Generations on Saturday, December 6th from 2PM–6PM.
👉 Complimentary sweet tea and water will be served, with beer and wine available for purchase.

Blazin' Keys Entertainment Dueling Pianos is back live at Outer Banks Brewing Station!

Join us for an unforgettable night of music and entertainment with Blazin’ Keys Dueling Pianos at the Outer Banks Brewing Station on Friday, November 21, 2025. The high-energy performance will feature two talented pianists going head-to-head, playing your favorite hits, and taking requests for an interactive and fun experience!

There are 2 ticket options for this event. Dining Room seating is $25 per person, bar seating is $20 a ticket. In addition to the regular menu, a special menu will be available for this event, offering something unique for the evening. The show starts at 6:00 PM and runs until 9:00 PM. This great shot comes from our tour guide extraordinaire, Cheryl "Shorty" Short during one of her tours yesterday.

She explains, "The stallion is doing what’s called "sneaking," which is usually to push the mare in a direction he wants her to go," be it for safety or isolation from another stallion, but Shorty and the tour were perplexed as to why he was leading her up the beach toward the water. The mare didn't seem to mind as she just sauntered along beside him.

Starting November 24th, TRiO’s very own Scotty & Mrs. Sharon will be hosting Monday night holiday trivia from 5-8pm during the Misfits Bars of Christmas, with a prize for the winning team each week. Our first trivia night kicks off with our friends at @outerbanksdistilling shaking up 4 specialty cocktails in the mezzanine!

A full day for our SaltBox Crew as we had not one but TWO competition/charity events going on at the exact same time. Who said you couldn’t be at two places at once? Well..we did it!
Our crew took home 3rd place people’s choice at Duck Wine at Duck Woods AND 2nd place judge’s choice at the OBX Shrimp Cookoff!
Proceeds go the Beach Food Pantry and The Outer Banks Dolphin Research organization.
