Nancy Seitz loves to travel, and when she does she loves to find new clothing, ladies accessories, home decor items and kitchen and dining accessories to bring home to customers at her “nest.” That was the inspiration for her shop in downtown Manteo, which feels less like a store and more like stepping into Nancy’s cozy sitting room. There you’ll find beautiful linens, clothing in classic, timeless styles, jewelry, home decor, table scapes, fragrances, leather handbags and more from places as far off as France, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland. There are also plenty of goods made right here in the U.S. You’ll find things at her shop that you won’t find anywhere else on the Outer Banks, and the items have a beach-appropriate feel while maintaining a level of refinement and elegance. From the charming decorations to the handprinted tags to the lovely gift wrap, it’s clear that Nancy puts a level of detail into her Nest that’s born out of a passion for what she does.
