Event Description:
Inner Banks sculptor Allan Weaver’s “The Muses” will be on display in Manteo’s The Elizabethan Gardens from July 31 to August 29 from 9am-5pm in Odom Hall. Weaver, who resides in Beaufort County, NC, comes from a background of industrial design. His love of art and design has led him to projects in architecture, furniture design and sculpture. In “The Muses,” Weaver has drawn from Greek mythology to sculpt the nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne. Standard garden entrance fees apply to enjoy Weaver’s fascinating exhibit. However, members of The Elizabethan Gardens are admitted free.
