Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

The gates are open!! And may the good lord watch over us all. Hopefully we will have some kind of news from our beaches as we have a few folks out today giving it a try. Today and tomorrow should be a good time to hit the beach and throw a line out as Monday threw wed is looking bad as a couple of storms move our way and the rip current will pick up significantly. Way down to Hatteras the fishing is good with drum, blues, Spanish and pompano. we are seeing an improvement north of the bridge with mullet and bluefish. Most of the piers are back open so this will help to see what's moving around in the surf it works as a pretty good gauge. Avalon the closes to us reports puppy drum, mullet and blues so be ready we may see some of that action as well. At the inlet the cobia fishing is improving along with some big drum on the inside and outside with plenty of trout around. The offshore fishing is very good right now, no reports today but they have been catching plenty of tuna, mahi along with a few big eye tuna and even a marlin so thing at the gulf stream looking super great!!

We have charters available for your dinning pleasure, juts give us a call or hit me via e-mail at obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com
