Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Another drizzly day out this morning, and we are supposed to see the sun sometime today. With that said it still remains slow along our beaches. We did have a couple of anglers catch some trout and shark. Unfortunately the shark angler got bit and took a few stiches, but he is back at it today. Congratulations to young Everett, because the surf has been slow he hit the pond in whale head and got a bunch of white perch, it's not just about the size but the quantity, not to mention the fun. Only two of the piers are open down in town, Avalon has a few strippers on it with skate and spot. Obx pier has mullet and blues. The little bridge is the place to be, and if you go down there you will see that everyone else has the same idea, it's packed. They are getting black drum, puppy drum and an early morning trout. The nearshore boats doing well with plenty of Spanish and killing the drum and trout, the trout are plentiful. The offshore fishing is just exploding despite the bad weather they are filling the box up. Citation yellowfin up to 101#'s these are very good grade fish, with mahi and blackfin and don't forget there are a large number of big eye out there just being line shy right now but it will go off.
