Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Good afternoon, the water today is at 64 with the waves at 2 to 3 feet. We have some good puppy drum hitting the beach, and I didn't catch the first gentleman's name but he landed this 18" drum and Nick with his drum great job guy's and we appreciate the phots. The puppy drum are defiantly biting on the surf as well as the sound. We also have reports of trout now hitting and decent size bluefish. I almost forgot we did have some striper come in also. So let the fishing begin finally!! Shrimp, fishbites and mullet are the ticket. Heading down to Avalon pier has drum, mullet and blue's on it. The little bridge has trout and spot on it. The nearshore boats if you are one of those going out are getting plenty of cobia, trout, Spanish, bluefish and drum, with a lot of trout on the inside to. The offshore fishing is burning up with nice catches of yellowfin, blackfin, big eye tuna. The mahi are there but slow but there are a few getting hooked. If that isn't enough stop on by the shelf and load up on some tilefish, I mean why not your out there.

Just due to the lack of crowds it is a good time to take advantage of the beach and the charters right now especially with the good fishing that's going on. Give us a call if your have a trip planed and book your trip early we are starting to see July fill up. Also don't forget the crab boats are starting up and get yourself some crabs. We will keep you posted as things change up here
