Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

It's Rocking in Corolla!! Puppy drum seem to be everywhere. We finally have some summer weather and a nice offshore flow. In our local surf puppy drum seem to be the hot ticket and they are on the surf side as well as the sound side. Along with them some good size on the sea mullet, bluefish all though they seem to be scattered with some trout, croaker, shark and some big ray's. Congratulations go out to Drew from Kansas on his 20" large mouth caught on shrimp of all things, and from my understanding the sound fishing has been pretty good. I'm not sure of his name but he sent in the photos of his ray and I believe Rob is the name of the unknown fisherman up on the 4x4 beach doing quite well with another drum pic. In other news the little bridge has a good trout bite this morning and Avalon pier has puppy drum, mullet and skate on it today. The nearshore boats I guess had a stellar day on cobia fishing and drum. There are also Spanish and blue's and trout there also. Offshore had a rough one according to one of our captains yesterday it was rough out and the sharks were feeding hard. They still managed to bring some tuna to the rail but lost quite a few and the wind is going to blow for the next few days out of the south west. The water coming in at 61 today with flat conditions on the beach.
