All Hail The King !! Congratulations to Mark Debord from Landcaster PA on his 34' Drum caught in Pine Island on mullet. This is the fish I spoke about last week but didn't receive the picture till yesterday and thank you, Mark, for sending it in. This is the largest fish we know about being caught this year in Corolla so the crown goes to you!!
So right now we are seeing an abundant amount of mullet and they are good size fish. There is also some puppy drum out there and the fish seem to be hitting most baits along with flounder. Some bluefish around with croaker and spot, so the fishing is pretty good.  Sand fleas seem to be working well along with fish gum, mullet, and shrimp.
The nearshore fleet is pulling in ribbonfish and albacore with drum and trout and flounder to the inside. The offshore fleet is having no problem finding the white marlin and there are some blues out there as well. Wahoo and mahi are on the ticket with sailfish and the tilefish you can get your limits on right now before it shuts down at the end of the month so come and get yours now.
