November fishing had been very good!! We have just recently had some fantastic weather and I did get out on the beach on Wednesday afternoon finally and it was non stop action, with a good mix of fish. The drum was bitting along with trout, blues, and black drum. There is a really good trout bite down in southern shores with some nice keepers. The surf did turn rough late Thursday afternoon and looks like it may continue for a few days. A rough rip is there along not so clean water as it was, so break the heavy gear out again. Shrimp was the bait to be using I had bites as soon as it hit the water. In Corolla the drum still are bitting and they are all slot size along with small black drum. The piers have a good mix of fish so that is a way to use that current to your advantage. Some nearshore boats ventured out and found some false albacore. The offshore boats finally got out and had blackfin and limits on the yellowfin with a white marlin hook up. That's a look at what's been happening up here and we will keep you up to date, it has been a great fall season.
